So tell your friends and family about my blog and remember to check back!
Thanks for your support!

It's official!!!
I'm going to be on the Carson Nation Show! I was lucky enough to have been chosen, to perform two hair make overs for the show. I was able to spend two days filming in my shop. The show will air some time the end of April or the first of May. (I'll keep you posted.) It was a great experience and I'm glad that I got to be a part of it.
Thanks Carson!

Here's a picture of the whole crew. I was fascinated by all the work that went into filming. Cameras here, cameras there, cameras every where! My shop was completely transformed. I cant wait to see what it will look like on TV. Every body on the crew was nice and did such a good job. My dog Sadie seemed to be a big hit with the crew. They couldn't get enough of her and even asked if she could go a long with them! But she's still here to greet you when you come to get your hair done!

Here is the Carson Nation trailer. This trailer follows him on all of his shows. (I think it's where he hides the goods!)

Color, color, color! Yes I know they are MODELS, but check out their hair color. The top section of their hair is a solid color. The underneath is where the streaks are at. This color blocking technique looks great with blond on the top and dark streaks on the bottom too. I've done this technique on shorter hair and it still looks good! So for those of you who are looking for something new and don't want a lot of up keep, try this out!

This seems to be the direction that short hair is moving to. Longer on top and super short on the sides.

I love, love, love this style! It has a slight asymmetrical feel to it. This is one style that can be worn on all face shapes!

For some reason most people with short hair, have a hard time wearing their hair curly. But check this style out! I think it looks awesome with a little curl. So if your hair is short, don't be afraid to start curling!

Here's the new length of Holly Wood. It seems like every where you turn some body is going a little shorter. I like this length because it is still long enough to do different things with and short enough to look like you got a new cut. So if your tempted to cut your hair, this is a good length to start with.
Let's just say the messy curls are in! I love this hair cut. It has short layers to show off definition.

Here is an easy style I decided to share with you. Start with the hair in a pony tail. Spray the pony tail till it's wet. Take a small section of hair and twist it out to the end of the hair.

Now you take the section of twisted hair and let it twirl down towards the head. Once it is tight against the head, take a bobbie pin and secure it to the head.

Here's the finished product! I like to leave my ends messy, but you can hide them if you want. Its very simple and only takes 10 minutes. If you need some help with this style, let me know!
